Labor & AttendanceIncluded

Attendance Logs

Review employee check-in and check-out records, verify evidence, and approve eligible attendance.

Review attendance

  1. 1

    Find the record

Search by employee or project, or filter by date, work type, approval status, selfie, or location evidence.

  2. 2

    Check the work assignment

Confirm whether the record is General Work or belongs to the correct project.

  3. 3

    Verify time and evidence

Review check-in, check-out, hours, available selfies, location evidence, and supporting details.

  4. 4

    Approve or reject

Approve only a closed, valid record. A rejection requires a reason.

Attendance and approval status

StateMeaning
OpenThe employee has not completed check-out. Hours and labor cost are not final, and the record cannot be approved.
PendingThe completed attendance is waiting for review.
ApprovedThe record was accepted. Approved project attendance can contribute to project labor cost.
RejectedThe record was not accepted and is excluded from approved labor cost.

Approval rules

  • The attendance must be closed and have recorded hours greater than zero.
  • Users cannot approve their own attendance.
  • Admins can approve eligible company attendance.
  • Managers can approve eligible project attendance only for projects where they are active Managers.
  • Managers cannot approve General Work because it has no project assignment.
  • Supervisors cannot approve attendance.

Selfie and location evidence

Use available photo and location evidence to help verify attendance before approval. Missing evidence is an exception to review, not automatic proof that the attendance is invalid.

General Work and Project Work

General Work

  • Company work without a project reference.
  • Does not affect the profit of an individual project.

Project Work

  • Attendance linked to a specific project.
  • Approved eligible attendance contributes to that project’s labor cost.

Important notes

  • Open attendance must be completed before approval.
  • Approved Project Work can affect project cost; General Work does not affect an individual project’s profit.
  • Labor cost visibility and available actions depend on role.
