Labor & AttendanceIncluded

Locations

Create work locations and geofences used by attendance and Kiosk workflows.

Create a location

  1. 1

    Choose the location type

Select Office, Project Site, Warehouse, or General.

  2. 2

    Set the real-world position

Enter the address and place the map point using accurate latitude and longitude.

  3. 3

    Choose the attendance radius

Set a radius that allows legitimate device GPS variation without making the allowed area unnecessarily large.

  4. 4

    Link a project when required

For Project Site locations, connect the correct project.

  5. 5

    Save and test

Verify the location using the actual device and attendance workflow before relying on enforcement.

Location types

TypeUse it for
OfficeAdministrative or office workplaces.
Project SiteA physical project location; it can be associated with a specific project.
WarehouseStorage, dispatch, preparation, or warehouse attendance.
GeneralA valid work location that does not fit the other categories.

Geofence enforcement

Geofence settings determine how Prospeno handles attendance captured outside the allowed radius. Choose the company enforcement mode that matches your policy and test it in the field.

Archive or reactivate a location

Archive

  • Removes the location from active attendance choices.
  • Preserves historical records connected to the location.

Activate

  • Restores an archived location for supported attendance and kiosk workflows.

Who can manage locations

RoleTypical access
AdminView, add, edit, archive, activate, and configure attendance geofencing.
ManagerView and manage locations according to current permissions.
SupervisorRead-only location visibility.

Important notes

  • An incorrect map point or radius can cause legitimate attendance to fail location checks.
  • A project location does not create project attendance automatically.
  • Archiving a location preserves historical attendance references.
