Overview
Coordinate Transport bookings, purchase orders, vehicles, drivers, and dispatch in an included company workspace. Transport is not a separately purchasable add-on.
Select Transport from the workspace selector, then use its Bookings, Purchase Orders, Vehicles, Drivers, and Dispatch navigation.
Who can use it
- Admins and Managers use the Transport workspace within existing company permissions.
- Clients use their assigned booking-portal access; that does not grant access to internal company settings or finance.
Before you start
- An Admin enables Transport in Settings → Workspaces.
- Set up the relevant clients, vehicles, and drivers before dispatching a booking.
- Optional compatible modules require their own activation and permissions.
Workflow
- 1
Select Transport
Choose the workspace explicitly. Shared pages and Back links keep the context you selected.
- 2
Prepare the operating records
Review the client, vehicle, and driver records used for the booking. Give clients only their assigned booking-portal credentials.
- 3
Coordinate bookings and dispatch
Review booking details and related purchase orders, then assign the appropriate vehicle and driver through the existing dispatch workflow.
- 4
Review compatible capabilities
Use the Transport Module Marketplace for compatible add-ons. Company Performance & Analytics still reports Projects data; Transport Billing & Collections remains under development.
Availability and statuses
- Transport is included with the company platform and has no separate module activation or expiry charge.
- Booking and dispatch statuses belong to their operational records. Changing workspace does not change those records.
- Transport Billing & Collections is not generally available and is not automatically enabled by selecting Transport.
Limitations
Troubleshooting
- If Transport is missing, ask an Admin to review Settings → Workspaces and your role.
- If an add-on is not offered here, read its workspace location and availability instead of activating it from another context.
- For booking-portal access, check the assigned client credentials rather than sharing an internal user account.
Important notes
- Transport is included with the company platform and has no separate module activation or expiry charge.
- Booking and dispatch statuses belong to their operational records. Changing workspace does not change those records.
- Transport Billing & Collections is not generally available and is not automatically enabled by selecting Transport.
- Workspace access does not grant every financial permission or optional module.
- The included workspace does not imply approved official invoicing, BIR accreditation, or a released Transport Billing product.
- Projects and Transport are distinct contexts; do not assume a Projects-only report includes Transport activity.
