Projects

Find projects, check their status, and open the Project Command Center for detailed tracking.

What the Projects page is for

Each project is a separate tracking workspace for its contract value, budget, actual costs, billings, collections, and assigned team.

  • Admins can view all projects and create new ones.
  • Managers see projects allowed by their role and assignments.
  • Supervisors and Employees normally use assigned-project views under My Work.

How project totals are affected

  • Approved labor and approved project expenses contribute to actual project cost.
  • Supported module costs may also contribute when the module is enabled.
  • Collections track cash received and outstanding balances; they do not reduce project cost.

Important notes

  • Only Admins can create projects.
  • Project capacity and completed-project retention depend on the company plan.
  • Completed or cancelled projects may restrict new records and edits.
